49/52

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015."

Roan:  he's been getting up on his knees--and then dropping to his belly to creep forward--for ages, it seems, but he's finally crawling now!  I didn't bother to scramble for my camera, lest I should miss it. These are of him playing in the morning light beside the bed and looking up at from his stroller on our way to pick his brother up from school.

Afon is hard to capture on camera, and I don't want to be high-strung about getting a portrait of him.  That kind of defeats the purpose of documenting and cherishing a fleeting childhood if all I can think to do is wrestle with him to take photos and then feel inadequate and/or frustrated because I can't get one.

A lot of bloggers start to phase out their children as the children get older.  I'd made up my mind to do that with the 52 Project and was thinking after age six for Afon.  Now I'm wondering if it'll feel too forced to carry on with him into the next year.

  1. I think let him lead with that. Weeks when he is game, do it, and when not... do a TBT for him. :)
